במסגרת פרויקט Fast Track Cities עיריית תל אביב-יפו משיקה בימים אלו תכנית עירונית למיגור HIV
פרויקט Fast Track Cities הוא יוזמה גלובלית של UNAIDS (סוכנות האו"ם לאיידס) ו-IAPAC (איגוד המטפלים הבינלאומי באיידס) שמטרתה מיגור HIV עד 2030.
הפרויקט פועל במעל ל-350 ערים בכל העולם, ורותם את כוח העיר והעירייה לקידום בריאות בקהילה.
ועדת היגוי ייעודית לפרויקט זה הוקמה ונתנה את המלצותיה המפורטות ליעדי התכנית; הוועדה מורכבת ממגוון רחב של נציגי גופי בריאות, קהילה ורווחה, כמו גם מומחיות ומומחים ברפואה וב-HIV – מהשורה הראשונה.
יעדי התכנית
יעדי התכנית הם 90-90-90: מתוך כלל הנדבקים ב-HIV, הגעה ל-90% מאובחנים כמאומתים לנגיף.
מתוך כלל המאומתים, הגעה ל-90% מהם שמקבלים טיפול לדיכוי הנגיף; ומתוכם, הגעה ל-90% מטופלים אצלם הטיפול מדכא את הווירוס באופן מוצלח עד לרמת undetectable.
בנוסף התכנית עוסקת במיגור הסטיגמה סביב HIV וסביב אנשים החיים עם HIV.
תכנית הפעולה בתל אביב כוללת פעולות ב-4 זירות: חינוך, מדיניות, שותפויות וטיפול.
התכנית שואפת להתייחס לפערים בתחום ה-HIV ומאמצת פתרונות מוצלחים מרחבי הגלובוס לתוך תל אביב-יפו.
עיריית תל אביב-יפו מקבלת תמיכה בלתי תלויה וללא מעורבות בתכנים לתכנית זו מטעם Gilead.
למה HIV? למה עירייה מתעסקת בזה?
בניגוד למחלות אחרות, יש פוטנציאל ממשי למיגור איידס ו-HIV מהעולם. מדובר בנגיף שניתן למנוע את ההדבקה בו.
לעיתים יש מכשולים רבים בהתנעת פעולה לאומית, אך עיר ועירייה היא הכוח האולטימטיבי והמשמעותי לעיצוב חיי התושבים, גם לקידום בריאות הציבור ולמניעת HIV.

As part of the Fast Track Cities project, the Municipality of Tel Aviv-Jaffa is currently launching a municipal plan to eradicate HIV
The Fast Track Cities project is a global initiative of UNAIDS (United Nations AIDS Agency) and IAPAC (International AIDS Care Association) that aims to eradicate HIV by 2030.
The project operates in over 350 cities all over the world, harnessing the power of the city and municipality to promote health in the community.
A dedicated steering committee for this project was established and gave its detailed recommendations for the goals of the program.
The committee consists of representatives from health, community and welfare bodies, as well as experts in medicine and HIV.
The goals of the program
The goals of the program are 90-90-90:
– to get 90% of people who have contracted the virus to be tested and verified;
– of those verified, to get 90% of them on treatment to suppress the virus;
– ensuring that 90% of those patients receiving treatment will become undetectable.
In addition, the program deals with eradicating the stigma around HIV and around people living with HIV.
The action plan in Tel Aviv includes targeting four arenas: education, policy, partnerships and treatment.
The program aims to address the gaps in the field of HIV and adopts successful solutions from around the globe into Tel Aviv-Yafo.
The Municipality of Tel Aviv-Jaffa receives independent support and without involvement in the contents of this program on behalf of Gilead.
Why HIV? Why is a municipality dealing with this?
Unlike other diseases, there is a real potential to eradicate AIDS and HIV from the world.
This is a preventable virus.
There are sometimes many obstacles in starting national action, but a city and a municipality is the ultimate and significant force for shaping the lives of the residents, also for promoting public health and preventing HIV.
